2014 is the 150th memorial anniversary of the Navajo Long Walk to Bosque Redondo in Fort Sumner, New Mexico. I traveled to this historic landmark to honor my ancestors and their sacrifices. Many of our youth in my community do not know the full history of the Hweeldi (Long Walk) and the long-term effects that it has on our people. Knowing this history is critical to our identity and revitalizing our language and culture. #TribalNations -Zunneh-bah
